Whole Foods Opens Store Featuring Health Services Near Dayton, Ohio

June 3, 2015: 12:00 AM EST
Whole Foods opened a new store near Dayton, Ohio, with a staff that includes a personal trainer. Similar to Wal-Mart's strategy of offering health care and other services, the 45,000 sq ft store will offer services the company said will help Whole Foods differentiate itself from rivals, such as Trader Joe's. Wal-Mart's Supercenter stores offer non-grocery services, such as optometry, hair care, and banking.
