Whole Foods Market Highlights Honors Received In 2014

Natural products retailer Whole Foods Market released a list of awards, honors, and recognition it received in 2014. For the retailer's workplace policies, it earned several accolades, including its inclusion on the “100 Best Companies to Work For” list of the Fortune magazine and the “Top 10 Coolest Companies to Work for in Austin” of “a” magazine. Its innovation efforts also received recognition, such as the Coltellino d' oro award for global cheese buyer Cathy Strange from the Consortium of Parmigiano Reggiano and global vice president of quality standards Margaret Wittenberg as one of the “Most Innovative Women in Food and Drink” by the Fortune and Food & Wine magazines.
