Whole Foods Looks At Options For Getting The Word Out On Pricing Strategy

November 18, 2016: 12:00 AM EST
Sonya Gafsi Oblisk, formerly with Walmart, is the new head of global marketing for Whole Foods Market, and she may have her eye on revamping the company’s ad strategy to make it more aggressive. Whole Foods has launched a media agency review, just two years after hiring Texas-based GSD&M to handle its national ads. There is some question as to whether the agency is in or out with the company, which is battling worrisome declines in same-store sales. The strategy is to get the word out more effectively on the new affordability of many Whole Foods products.
