Walmart International CEO Visits India; Renews Company's Commitment To Local Expansion

Walmart International president and CEO David Cheesewright renewed his company's commitment to expand its cash-and-carry and business-to-business e-commerce businesses in India in the next five years. Speaking during his first visit to the country in April 2015, the executive met the chief ministers of the Andhra Pradesh and Telangana states, updating them of Walmart's expansion and local-sourcing plans in India. Cheesewright also visited the Best Price Modern Wholesale stores in Hyderabad and Agra.
