Walmart In Talks With Haworth Regarding Media Account

April 5, 2016: 12:00 AM EST
Walmart is negotiating with WPP Group’s Haworth Media & Marketing for a possible takeover of the retailer’s media account. Currently being handled by media agency MediaVest, Walmart’s media account was worth more than $900 million in 2014, according to Ad Age Datacenter. Walmart’s move to change agency came following former Target chief marketing officer Michael Francis’ appointment as a marketing consultant for the retail giant. Francis has worked with Haworth for many years at Target and at Dreamworks Animation.
