Wal-Mart De Mexico Reports Revenue Gains, Profit Declines In 2Q 2016

Wal-Mart de Mexico reported net profit declined 9.2 percent to 6.186 billion pesos, or $339 million, in the second quarter of 2016, compared with the same period in 2015. Analysts expected the company’s profit for the period to reach 6.290 billion pesos. Revenue for the quarter rose 11.5 percent to 127.5 billion pesos, compared with the same quarter in the previous year.
