Waitrose Says To Expand, Open New Supermarkets Across UK In 2016

High-end retailer Waitrose announced its expansion plans across the UK for 2016. Expected to create 1,500 new jobs, the proposed expansion will include 14 new supermarkets, nine new Waitrose convenience stores, and a bigger online service depot in London. Also, the retailer said it plans to introduce new retail concepts, including juice bars, grazing and informal dining areas, and sushi counters.
