Virtual Reality Expected To Drive Developments In Retail Market, Analysts Say

With popular adoption of virtual reality expected to begin in 2016, retailers are looking at the technology for direct sales applications and for enhancing customer experience. Market analysts forecast the number of active VR users to reach 171 million by 2018, data from a 2015 Statista survey revealed. In 2015, retailers, including The North Face and The Apartment, implemented VR initiatives.
