December 29, 2015: 12:00 AM EST
In November 2015, the average UK household’s weekly discretionary income grew £14 to £193, according to retailer Asda’s income tracker report. Data from the company revealed annual growth in household income hit its lowest level in the past 12 months in November. According to the company, a combination of slightly higher inflation and a slowdown in wage increases has hampered household income growth.
