Trent Hypermarket Reports First Sales Growth In Year Ending March 2016

Trent Hypermarket, UK-based retailer Tesco's joint venture with India-based Tata Group, reported sales grew 8 percent to Rs 849 crore in the year ending March 2016. Marking the first time the retailer saw its sales grow, Trent Hypermarket's business was boosted by an increase in number of stores and strong same-store sales. In 2015, Tesco saw its sales drop marginally.
