Seiyu Reveals Plans To Improve Customer Experience, Expand Online Operations

Wal-Mart Stores Inc.'s Japan business, Seiyu GK, said it plans to invest in improving in-store customer experience and expand its online retail operations. Also, the company said it will push its Every Day Low Cost program and improve productivity to strengthen its Every Day Low Price strategy. In particular, the company plans to speed up the renovation and remodeling of existing stores and improve its capabilities to manufacture deli products and improve quality controls for fresh foods.
