June 6, 2016: 12:00 AM EST
UK supermarket chain Asda CEO Andy Clarke said the company's new chief operating officer Roger Burnley will be his successor as chief executive officer. After about a decade of working at one of Asda's major supermarket rivals, J Sainsbury PLC, Burnley will join Wal-Mart Stores Inc.'s UK business in October 2016. Burnley was Asda's head of logistics before leaving to join discount clothing seller Matalan in 2002.
