More Than A Quarter Of American Population Will Live In Top 10 Cities By 20125, Euromonitor Forecasts

June 6, 2016: 12:00 AM EST
By 2025, 27 percent of Americans will be living in the country’s 10 largest metropolitan areas, according to Euromonitor International. Data from the market research firm’s presentation, “US Consumers in 2025: What’s in Store for Retailers?,” revealed households without children will grow the fastest and the country will become more ethnically and racially diverse. Also, millennials will account for 30 percent of gross income; however, income inequality will persist.
