Millennial Women Are A Driving Force Behind Pizza Popularity

A study of “pizza lover” attitudes toward pizza found that 63 percent (of 1,004 surveyed) are women who go out for pizza or buy frozen pizza every month. Forty-one percent of those are millennials and 68 percent of all pizza lovers exercise two or more times per week. It is important for this health-conscious group to find natural ingredients and gluten-free options. Sixty percent say they avoid products that contain synthetic hormones, high fructose corn syrup, trans fat, and artificial preservatives. Millennials drive many of today's pizza trends and inspire behaviors such as social sharing and searching the Internet for pizza information.
