Metro Sells Wholesale Business In Greece

Metro Group said it has agreed to sell its Greece-based wholesale subsidiary MAKRO Cash & Carry to local retail company Sklavenitis. Covering Metro's wholesale business in the country, the purchase deal will include nine wholesale stores and related real estate holdings valued at €65 million. Metro Group said it expects the divestment to have a neutral EBIT impact on its revenue performance for fiscal year 2014‒2015.
