Kroger Announces Several Senior Executive Changes

Kroger Co. announced the retirement of Bill Breetz as president of the retailer's Houston division. He will be succeeded by Marlene Stewart, currently president of the company's Dillons division. Stewart, in turn, will be replaced by Colleen Juergensen, vice president of merchandising at the Smith's division. Also, Kroger announced the promotion of Pam Matthews, vice president of operations for the retailer's Delta division, to president of Kroger's QFC division.
