Groupe Auchan, Metro Cash & Carry Expand Purchasing Deal In France

French retailer Groupe Auchan and wholesaler Metro Cash & Carry expanded their purchasing cooperation deal. First launched in the international level in November 2014, the deal was extended to cover France following changes in the European retail market. In compliance with applicable local laws, Metro Group will outsource to Auchan the negotiations of the buying terms for 2016 for certain product categories and suppliers in France. Both companies, however, will take care of their respective commercial and sales policies and strategies.
