Fortune Honors Whole Foods Market’s 37-Year-Old CIO

Fortune magazine has named Whole Foods Market Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer 37-year-old Jason Buechel one of the 40 most influential business people under the age of 40. Buechel, executive vice president and chief information officer, is No. 11 on Fortune’s “40 Under 40” list.  He is the youngest member of the Whole Foods executive team. Fortune noted Buechel’s role in building Whole Foods’s Market’s partnership with Instacart, implementing Apple Pay, and testing the company’s first rewards program.
