Carrefour Plans To Keep Expanding In Poland In 2016

French retailer Carrefour plans to open about 150 stores in Poland in 2016. With the retailer planning to invest PLN 260 million, or €61 million, in the 2016 expansion, Carrefour allocated PLN 160 million, or €37 million, in the renovation and upgrading of existing stores. In 2015, Carrefour had 84 hypermarkets, 139 supermarkets, and 573 convenience stores across the country.
