July 26, 2016: 12:00 AM EST
Discount retailer Aldi has grown its share of Australia's retail market to 10 percent, according to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. Aldi's growth has been driven by its non-stop expansion on the country's east coast and its entry into the South and Western Australia states in 2016. According to the company, it plans to continue expanding its network even faster in the coming years.
